About
My name is Ralph Greene and I am the owner of this blog on personal development and self improvement. Although this blog may be just in its beginning I have been working on improving myself for many years now so I know a fair amount about it. But like anything else there is always more room for improvement.
I invite you to join me on my personal development journey. I hope to impart to you some of my personal growth experiences along with things I have either read or knowledge I have gained from this long and endless journey.
My personal growth journey began almost 17 years ago when I was living in Hawaii. My friend had attended a one week seminar called PSI, I do not recall what it stands for, and after that he invited me to attend the next training that they were to have. He got a lot out of it so I decided go.
At that time it was a lot of money for my family and me but I felt somehow that it would pay off in the end. After I finished my session I encouraged my wife to attend and she did. Again it was expensive for us but we felt it would be good in the long run.
One of the things I learned the most was not to give things my energy that did not need it. I was not a depressed person by any means at that time nor was I a person that was angry at the world but I would get angry sometimes at small things for really no reason.
For example if a car cut me off I would yell for a little while but would not really carry any anger around for any length of time. I learned not to get angry in the first place what good does it do. May the person did not see me or had an emergency or something.
I also learned to take the worry and fear out of my life. This has allowed me to do some risky things that most people would not do. Some of those risks have paid off and other have failed miserably. I would have never taken those risks unless I hadn’t gotten rid of my fear.
Don’t get me wrong there is always a little bit of fear when you do something new its just that now it is not paralyzing fear that stops me from taking action.
I hope you will come back to this blog often and see how things are going for me and let me know how things are going for you.
