Success and Fear Do Not Mix
Yes it is true success and fear are like oil and water they do not mix.

If you are going to have any successes in your life you need to cut out fear and worry because they will get you no where. Fear and worry are the central causes of unhappiness and failures. Fear is a habit of our mind just like any other habit and just like any other habit we possess the strength and power to overcome it.

Expectancy is a powerful factor of our minds and is the same as a powerful magnet. What you expect is usually what you get in life. If you expect that you will fail and be unsuccessful in life then that is what you will get. If you expect successes and riches then that also is exactly what you will get.

Strong Desire Attracts
If you have a strong, confident desire you will attract the things that you need in your life to accomplish your goals and plans. Persons, things, circumstances, surroundings and other things that you need will begin to appear.

It is also equally true that if you fear something you will start in motion the forces necessary to bring about that which was feared. The person who fears something really expects the feared thing and it is the same as if the person had really wished for or desired it.

Replace Fear with Courage
The best way to overcome the mental habit of fear is to replace it with courage. Just as the best way to get rid of darkness is to let in the light it is the same with courage. It is not enough to just try to recognize negative thoughts and deny them away with great mental effort. You must replace those negative thoughts with courage.

The best thing to do is completely replace the negative thoughts with positive thoughts. Instead of repeating, “I’m not afraid,” say boldly, “I am full of courage,” “I am courageous”. You must assert , “There’s nothing to fear,” which is almost like a denial but it is denying the reality of the object causing fear rather than admitting to the fear itself then denying it.

So the next time you fell fearful or worried about something sit up or stand up straight, take a dep breath and immediately change those negative thoughts with courage. You will be surprised how fast you can change your attitude.
